Stockoban

Questions before you start?

Here is what owners, managers and warehouse teams usually need to know. For instructions, use our step-by-step guides.

Who is Stockoban for?

Retail business owners, retail managers and warehouse managers whose teams use Veeqo and move reserve stock into order-picking areas. Managers get a view of the work; replenishers get lists designed for shared warehouse devices.

What does replenishment mean here?

Moving stock from a reserve or backstock area to the shelves used to pick customer orders. Stockoban helps organise and record that work. It is not a supplier purchasing or sales forecasting system.

What will I be able to see as an owner or manager?

Completed lists, recorded packs moved, list durations, picking and carrying time, frequently replenished bays, and product problems reported by the team. The dashboard gives a seven-day operational view; Reports offers 7, 30 and 90-day periods.

Read the guide
How can it help save time or money?

Clear lists can reduce uncertainty on the floor, while records and notes help you investigate repeated stock problems, frequent top-ups and long carrying times. Try it in one area and compare the work with your team. Savings depend on your operation; we do not promise a fixed percentage.

Does it replace Veeqo or change my stock figures?

It works alongside Veeqo and reads its inventory information. Completing a list does not change stock quantities or bin locations in Veeqo. When a colleague reports a discrepancy, investigate it and make any inventory correction in Veeqo.

Is the stock information live?

Stockoban imports inventory when connected, checks for updates periodically and requests a stock refresh when a list is opened. Background processing and connectivity can affect when an update appears. Treat the displayed stock as imported information and check the physical stock when picking.

How much setup and training will the team need?

An administrator connects Veeqo, checks locations and product references, and creates people and device accounts. Workers then select their name, enter a PIN and follow a list. Start with a small familiar area and check the whole workflow before rolling it out.

Do all my workers need email accounts?

Warehouse workers use their name and personal PIN on a signed-in device, so they do not need an email account for that workflow. Administrators and managers use a separate email and password sign-in.

Can I bring my team across from Veeqo?

An administrator can load people from the connected Veeqo account, review the prefilled details and create or link a Stockoban account. Existing accounts can be linked explicitly to avoid duplicates. Passwords and permissions are not copied, and unlinking does not remove Stockoban access or work history.

Can we use shared scanners, tablets and phones?

Yes. Set up a device account for the warehouse, then let each colleague select their own name and enter their PIN. Stockoban is a browser-based app that can be added to the home screen where supported. Test your particular scanner, browser and Wi-Fi during the trial.

What happens if the warehouse Wi-Fi drops?

Opened lists are cached and supported item changes can be queued on the device. Sign-in, fresh inventory and list actions such as starting, pausing and completing still need a connection. Reconnect and check that work has been sent before signing out or switching devices.

Can a supervisor pass work to someone else?

Yes. Supervisors can reassign lists and prepare shift handovers with notes. Record what has actually been collected and where the stock is, so the next colleague can continue safely and accurately.

Can we work in packs and individual units?

Yes. The list supports packs and units using the product’s pack size. Check the reference data: a pack of six and a pack of twelve represent different quantities, even if both are entered as one pack.

Can I use it across more than one warehouse?

Stockoban imports Veeqo warehouse locations, and devices and workers are assigned to locations. Managers choose the location when reviewing work. Check the current plan limits at sign-up and start by verifying one location.

Can I see it before connecting my own inventory?

The home page and guides show the actual interface with clearly labelled fictional products and activity, in light and dark mode. These examples explain the screens; your own reports build up as your team records work.

What does it cost, and can I try it first?

Select Start trial to see current plans, prices, billing options and the trial period before signing up. The account administrator can manage the subscription through Account → Manage billing. Read the checkout terms and cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to continue.

Do I need an IT specialist, and how is sign-in protected?

Your team uses the hosted app in a browser; you do not need to install a server to use it. Administrators use an authenticator code as well as a password. Managers have their own accounts, and workers have personal PINs on location-specific devices. Keep access up to date when colleagues or equipment change.

What about personal information and our responsibilities?

Names, work records and timings can relate to identifiable colleagues. Explain how you will use this information, restrict access to the people who need it and follow your organisation’s data-protection and employment obligations. Review the Privacy Policy and terms for the service’s policies; the reports are not a substitute for a fair assessment of someone’s work.
